I am an example of how the pursuit of art can breathe life into one’s later years, proving that the journey of self-discovery knows no age.

As an abstract painter, my work ventures into a variety of mediums such as acrylic, charcoal, collage and assemblage. With playful and vibrant visual language, each piece is an example of my love of color guided by an intuitive approach to the canvas. My art reflects life experiences that come from a journey well-traveled and invites viewers to embark on their own introspective visual journey through my canvas.

Since beginning my artistic journey, I have had the incredible pleasure of displaying in several juried art shows and winning several awards. A native Texan, I grew up in the Houston area. I discovered the world of abstract painting after retirement. When not painting, I enjoy time with my little studio companion Bella and working with clay to create ceramic art pieces and mixed media sculpture.
