Micaela Perdomo is an emerging mixed media artist based in Houston, Texas. Originally from Uruguay, Micaela has lived in Michigan, Connecticut and New York. Her art is heavily influenced by her personal experiences, particularly her background as an educator, having taught for over thirteen years.

Micaela’s art is characterized by a focus on emotions and life situations. She explores various materials and textures to express herself and convey her ideas. Her works are often layered and incorporate a variety of media, including paint, paper and textures.

For Micaela, art has always been a means of coping with difficult situations, She finds solace and peace in the act of creating and her art is a reflection of her innermost thoughts and feelings. Her work has been described as both raw and emotional, with a sense of vulnerability that invites the viewer to connect with her on a personal level.

As an emerging artist, Micaela is excited about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. She looks forward to continuing to explore new materials and techniques and to sharing her art with a wider audience. She joins Art Machine Gallery in May of 2023 and sharing her art with a wider audience is exactly what we intend to do!
